Professional conduct includes:
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Being punctual
- Completing assignments fully
- Reporting concerns immediately
- Maintaining appropriate boundaries
- Avoiding gossip
- Avoiding inappropriate social relationships with patients
Dress Code
Employees must:
- Wear agency-approved uniforms
- Maintain clean appearance
- Wear closed-toe shoes
- Wear ID badges visibly
- Avoid excessive jewelry or fragrances
Attendance Expectations
Caregivers must:
- Arrive on time
- Notify the office immediately if unable to work
- Avoid no-call/no-show situations
- Document time accurately
Cell Phone Policy
Personal phone use during patient visits is prohibited except for emergencies or agency communication.
Professional Boundaries
Caregivers may NOT:
- Borrow money from patients
- Accept expensive gifts
- Share personal problems
- Become romantically involved with patients or family members
- Perform services outside the care plan
